At Home Workout – No Gym Required!

 

Ever experienced days where you just couldn’t be bothered going to the gym? Ahem, guilty as charged more often that not! But never fear, I have the perfect solution to your problem, the ultimate home workout that will leave you feeling fabulous and without the need of all those fancy gym machines. Enjoy!

Equipment needed; yoga mat or carpet, light-medium weight dumbell, light-medium weight kettlebell, Google if you’re not sure how to perform the exercise, a positive attitude 🙂

WORKOUT TIME – 45 mins including warm, warm down and rest times

Begin by warming up with 4.5 mins of one of the following;

*treadmill

*skipping rope

*jogging on the spot

*star jumps

*stretching

RUSSIAN KETTLEBELL TWISTS – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 10 sec break in between (4 mins)

DUMBELL DEADLIFT – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 15 sec break in between (4 mins)

DUMBELL KNEELING ROW – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 15 sec break in between (4 mins)

GLUTE KICKBACKS – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 10 sec break in between (4 mins)

SQUATS – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 10 sec break in between (4 mins)

DUMBELL BENCH PRESS – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 10 sec break in between (4 mins)

DUMBELL STANDING MILITARY PRESS – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 10 sec break in between (4 mins)

KETTLEBELL GLUTE SWING – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 15 sec break in between (4 mins)

LYING GLUTE BRIDGE – 4 sets of 10 reps with a 10 sec rest in between (4 mins)

Finish off with a 4.5 min warm down with stretches
